Responsibilities:
- Design of new digital blocks/circuits meeting performance, area, power and timescale constraints
- Work closely with back-end designers to correctly implement digital designs to layout
- Simulation, verification and lab evaluation of digital blocks/circuits
- Create high-quality documentation for own design blocks and other project related documents
- Attendance at and participation in all relevant project meetings, keeping project manager aware of achievements, issues and potential risks to timescales
- Demonstrates an ability to learn new tool features and procedures
- Attend training courses or conferences as directed by Dialog
- Build up your knowledge and improve your skills using your own research to supplement Dialog's on-the-job training
Requirements:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
- Preferably first experience in design of digital circuits
- Basic knowledge of electrical properties, digital circuits, modeling and simulation, EDA software and Unix
- Ability to prioritize work, set goals and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and take full responsibility for solutions
- Good written, communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel
- Intermediate English
Will be a plus:
- Understanding of IC design flow
- Experience with IC technologies or protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, etc.)
- Knowledge of transistor-level integrated circuits and semiconductor physics
- Understanding of advanced verification methodologies (e.g. UVM, ABV)
- Programming/scripting (Verilog-D, VHDL, System Verilog, Skill, Python, Bash)
