Currently we are looking for Accountant for our Global shared service Accounts Payable accounting team located in Poland, Gdansk.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- US GAAP bookkeeping of expenditures by types; US GAAP bookkeeping of respective AP and bank payments. Pre-bookkeeping procedures such as checking of appropriate payment or expense recognition documents, its accounting and taxation attributes, etc.
- Making bank payments to EPAM counterparties (domestic and foreign wire payments; batch and individual transfers)
- Monthly accounting close of mentioned accounts SAP in accordance with established procedure and agreed rules
- Providing of explanations/supporting documentation to external and internal Auditors the same as to Senior/Lead Accountant, if required
REQUIREMENTS
- Finance/ Accounting background
- Good knowledge of English (Intermediate level at least)
- Minimum 2 year of accounting working experience
- Knowledge of US GAAP (at least basics) or IFRS as alternative
- Good MS office skills, especially Excel skills
- Attentiveness to details, ability to control and process information that comes from many different sources (and could influence potential journal entry)
