DevOps Engineer, Fintech Solutions; Sign-on Bonus: $2,000

We offer $2,000 as a sign-on bonus to the specialist that will accept our offer and join DataArt in this position. The bonus will be included in the first salary.

Our client is a successful fintech start-up based in London. The client provides a software platform and an open API for the banking industry. The open API allows fintech enterprises to access banking services, create digital wallets, connect them, receive, send, and convert funds, launch cards, and administer loans. The range of services and geographical presence of the client are growing fast.

The client is expanding their DevOps team and looking for a person whose role will be focused on taking care of the infrastructure and other platform tools to enable the developers to do their work.

The specialist will work in the project with the following technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Terraform, AWS, ELK stack, Gitlab CI/CD, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with InfoSec team to provide secure environment with all necessary configuration for compliance (ISO27001, PCI-DSS)
• Support development team to drive new applications and technologies
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform
• Automate environment with PowerShell

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven track record as a DevOps Engineer within a commercial, deadline-driven environment
• Windows Server knowledge (2019+): Active Directory (including MFA not through RADIUS), PowerShell basics (for automation), IIS, Group policy
• Networking knowledge: Subnetting, TCP flags (SYN, ACK…), HTTPS, RPC, DNS, TLS and IPSec VPNs
• Infrastructure-as-code: Automation, Orchestration, image storage/optimisation
• Logs & Observability: Windows Event Logs
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery: Gitlab CI/CD knowledge is a plus
• Working in a regulated sector is a plus: PCI-DSS, CIS baseline, ISO 27001, ISAE 3402 / SOC II controls

Additional Competencies

• Experience with AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, ELK Stack
• AWS Stack: we use a bunch of stuff already and we will use even more AWS products/services
