Job Summary
The Officer Information Management (IM) will assume primary responsibility for data management, data entry, data cleaning, and identifying discrepancies of MEAL and beneficiary data including satisfaction surveys, and post distribution monitoring, in addition to all programs' data. S/he will be the main focal point for developing data collection tools, expanding data management systems, developing dashboards, providing data analysis, and supporting reporting efforts of MEAL and program departments. The Officer IM will generate and share periodic (weekly, monthly, etc.) trend analysis of top morbidities, and trend analysis for key program indicators. S/he will support field team in designing data management system, and support in designing internal procedures on effective data management.

IMC's policies, guidelines, and procedures
Actively promote Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) standards within IMC and among its beneficiaries.
Contribute to the creation of a positive image and overall credibility of the organization, notably through the application of the Code of Conduct, ethics values, and standpoint with regards to internal and external actors.
MEAL System
Support in developing internal standard operating procedures (SoPs) for effective data management starting from data collection till final report.
Support in developing/updating the required data collection tools as per IMC and donor guidance in consultation with MEAL and program teams.
Design and develop necessary data management systems for program data
Support in developing user guidelines on use and management of all databases
Support in developing/updating the analytical dashboards to meet programs' needs.
Support in managing the data collection for whole missions and developing mobile data collections forms.
Data entry and analysis
Enter program data into the relevant database on daily/weekly basis and generate periodic (weekly, monthly) reports including trend analysis
Perform data cleaning and entry of all surveys in the missions but not to patient satisfaction surveys, post distribution monitoring.
Enter weekly data into online EWARS or similar system for MoH reporting and generate and share monthly trend analysis for top morbidities
File all forms and hard copies of data collected and backup soft copies into external hard disk.
Provide assistance with data collection as and when required
Assist with logistics and administration for MEAL workshops, trainings, surveys and assessments
Data System Technical Oversight
Review data and identify discrepancies and rectify those problems in consultation with supervisor, and participate in routine data quality audit (DQA)
Conduct regular visits to health facilities, centers and community outreach sites to provide feedback and training on their use of the system and verify data quality.
capacity building
Support in providing training/workshops and regular refresher trainings for program staff on the use of the data management system and tools.
Support in deliver training and support field enumerators and partners on data capture, analysis and use.
Presenting information
Keep tracking sheet for reports submitted for both weekly and monthly, generate performance indicators of completeness and timelines of reporting by site and share with the Supervisor.
Generate and share monthly/quarterly trend analysis for key program indicators
Update dashboards on a regular basis to provide up to date information to all teams

Minimum Requirements
Typically, a bachelor's degree in information management, computer science, data science, or a related field, with experience or background in data management system. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Typically, 2+ years of applied experience with a humanitarian organization in Information Technology and data management system.
Should be highly computer literate, with demonstrated experience with database development and management.
Experience in data cleaning and identifying data quality issues and methods of corrections.
Experience with handling and protecting confidential data including health information and establishing data security systems.
Good knowledge in data analysis and relevant areas of data management.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
High proficiency in data visualization software including PowerBI
High proficiency in designing mobile data collection tools and XLS forms.
Personal and organizational skills, including time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent understanding of the local context and health and other government systems.
Good training facilitator/presentation skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High-level English proficiency (Speaking – Reading – Writing.
High-level Mission's LANGUAGE proficiency (Speaking – Reading – Writing).
