Skelia is on the hunt for a skilled Senior Python Back End Developer! Now they are looking for a technical leader to develop cloud engineering skills and capabilities and lead complex technical solution delivery across TUI.

Your mission
- As part of an empowered Scrum team, you have a joint responsibility to design, implement and deliver a certain domain of our new platform
- Support and mentor Engineering, Dev and DevOps team
- Advice on implementing AWS best practices (performance, security, maintainability, etc)
- Design the architecture for the new system together with architects within the group
- Design, implement and maintain data requirements for development
- Leverage new technology paradigms (e.g., serverless, containers, microservices)
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience with Python development
- Expertise in core Amazon Web Services products such as Lambda, S3/Kinesis/SQS/SNS, DynamoDB/Elasticsearch, ECS/Docker
- Hands-on experience in SQL/NoSQL, ETL/ELT style Data processing, Data Warehousing & Data Lake
- Experience with API Gateway, and strong knowledge of microservices and APIgee
- Comfortable working with SQL / NoSQL
- Good problem-solving skills and conversion of high level to details
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tech. stack
- Upper-intermediate level of English
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Nice to have requirements
- Experience modelling and evolving complex data structures
- Understanding of application architecture approaches
- AWS Certification
- Knowledge of Snowflake or any DWH
- Leading and mentoring experience
