We are looking for an extraordinary Game Economy Designer/Game Analyst who shares our passion for creating the best gaming experiences.
Superpowers you have are:
4+ years of experience as Game Economy Designer/Analyst in a game dev company;
Graduate degree in Economics or BA preferably specialized in Marketing or Strategic direction;
Mastery of Excel;
Deep, up-to-date knowledge of the free-to-play market, both web-based and on smartphones;
Passion for games on all existing formats: board games, card games, sports, paper RPGs, gambling, all genres of video games with special focus on mobile games and MOBA/Strategy games;
Experience of closely working with Analytics, understanding of how the event system should be set up and deep understanding of game KPIs;
Strong analytical and formal thinking, econometrics skills, statistic knowledge, marketing knowledge;
Understanding of client/server architecture and data collecting pipeline and mining;
Good SQL knowledge will be a huge plus.
Becoming a part of Room 8 Studio team you will:
Conduct analysis of the gaming economy, balance, player behaviour and the influence of external factors, preparation of reports;
Develop player segmentation to adapt the product to user experience;
Set up event system for games and work with game KPIs with a focus on improving them
Control the integrity and validity of all collected game data;
Forecast and evaluate the results of A / B tests;
Conduct independent research tasks – from the formulation of a hypothesis and target metrics to the development of recommendations for changing games for product teams;
Make market research and analysis will be a huge plus.
