INTRODUCTION

Right to Protection (R2P) is a Ukrainian not-for profit organization. The Right to Protection (R2P) is a leading human rights NGO that works comprehensively to solve problems related to migration, its causes, and consequences. R2P's key programmatic strengths are legal assistance, monitoring, advocacy, capacity building, community-building as well as humanitarian aid. 

R2P is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Deputy HR Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Deputy HR Manager is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. This means that your Deputy HR Manager duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, training & development, and talent management. Deputy HR Manager reports to HR Manager, and works in close cooperation with Programme Managers, Programme Coordinators, Projects Managers, and with Team Leaders of the R2P Regional Offices.  

The position is settled in Lviv. 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with the HR Manager develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall R2P mission and strategy;

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process;

  • Support current and future organization needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital;

  • Develop and monitor overall HR systems, tactics and procedures across the organization;

  • Nurture a positive working environment;

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs;

  • Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness;

  • Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation;

  • Carrying out necessary administrative duties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • University level of education;

  • At least 2 years of working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive;

  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, both verbally and in writing;

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to deal with diverse groups of people;

  • People oriented and results driven;

  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills;

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills;

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company;

  • Cultural sensitivity and diplomacy;

  • Treat all people fairly without favoritism;

  • Fulfill all obligations to gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment;

  • Commitment to teamwork;

  • Highly motivated self-starter;

  • Flexibility.
