About the position:
ODSC is seeking a Recruiter who is eager to expand and leverage the ODSC Ecosystem in the recruiting industry. The chosen candidate will help match some of the brightest minds in Data Science to our Hiring Partners & build long-lasting relationships.
Basic Responsibilities
The associate will report to the VP of Product Development and would be expected to coordinate time efficiently by managing prospective employees & employers. Work will include extensive research, outreach, and follow-up on a regular basis. Must be highly organized & be able to pitch the perfect candidate.
Essential Functions:
Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.
Utilize ODSC Jobs Platform to generate new revenues for the company
Provide support to research and compile background information on potential event partners & potential candidates
Requirements
1+ years of experience in recruitment is a MUST
Experience in outbound sales and high-quality lead generation - (B2B preferred) would be a plus
Upper intermediate (or higher) written and spoken English level
Confidence in interacting with a variety of individuals by phone or email
Experience using document management tools like Google Sheets and Docs
Experience using CRM or Sales Engagement/Automation Software
Excellent research, time management and communication skills
Ability to convince and persuade; attentive and goal-oriented
Experience with Email Sponsor/Partners Sales for events is a plus
Data Science and AI knowledge is a plus
