The Grand Royal Wolinak (LGRW), in collaboration with the Abenaki community of Wolinak wishes to develop activities as well as economic benefits for the community and the region.

The Grand Royal Wolinak wants to offer its customers a unique gaming and entertainment experience in the region. The LGRW has developed a concept of games adapted to the needs of each of its visitors. Location: Montreal, Canada.

Main responsibilities of the position

An excellent cook must be able to follow cooking instructions and deliver well-prepared meals. They must be skilled at moving around the kitchen and adept at multitasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.

Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment;
Prepare the ingredients to be used in the kitchen (chop and peel the vegetables, cut the meat, etc.).
Cook food in various utensils or grills.
Check food while cooking for stirring or turning.
Ensure excellent presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
Keep a hygienic and orderly environment in the kitchen.
Make sure all food and other items are stored properly.
Check the quality of the ingredients.
Monitor inventory and place orders in case of shortages.
Clean their workstation and rotate inventory at the end of shifts.

Experience and qualities required

Proven experience as a cook.
Experience in the use of cutting tools, stoves, cooking and cooking utensils.
Knowledge of different cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.).
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
Ability to work in a team.
Very good communication skills.
Excellent physical condition and endurance.
