Regulatory Reporting Specialist

An international American bank is looking for Regulatory Reporting Specialist.

Job Purpose: 

• To provide support to CFO and Chief Accountant in timely and accurate local regulatory and prudential reporting ensuring proper control environment
• To facilitate implementation of local regulatory and control initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support in preparation of IFRS and XBRL financial statements, both quarterly and annual, cooperation with other units in supporting documents collection and data aggregation
2. Performance of variance analysis control for quarterly and annual IFRS and XBRL financial statements
3. Performance of periodic independent validation of regulatory reports with proper process documentation
4. Support in FINREP implementation including proper testing and development of control environment 
5. Support in data collection and analysis on ad-hoc business and regulatory requests, including new products implementation
6. To ensure strict compliance with all local accounting policies and procedures, local regulatory reporting requirements
7. To provide support to CFO and Chief Accountant during internal and external audits
8. Participation in regular Finance controls and monitoring processes and reviews, MCA testing assistance etc.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience related to finance, accounting, banking
• Higher Education in Banking/ Finance/ Economics
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
• Good knowledge of banking activities, banking products
• Experience in data analysis
• Strong soft skills (advanced user of Excel, Power Point, Word) 
• Fluency in English - verbal and written – is a MUST
