Responsibilities:

Working as a FPGA Design Engineer based in Lviv, you will:

• Create FPGA designs for new generation of high precision measurement equipment for IC production;
• Full-stack design: research, develop project architecture and algorithms, develop SystemVerilog code, cover project with test benches, define FPGA project constrains, FPGA project synthesis and implementation, test project in hardware;
• Design and implement system-on-chip solutions that use embedded ARM processors such as Zynq DDR memories, fast serial interfaces such as JESD-204B;
• Generate FPGA IP using the Xilinx Vivado tool suite;
• Work in cooperation with PCB designer;
• Develop low level application programming interfaces for electronics devices with using C++ programming;
• Provide technical documentation including requirements test reporting, timing diagrams, block diagrams and detailed descriptions;
• Program and debug FPGA firmware features;
• Test Bench Creation & Test case Writing;
• Write code documentation;
• Code functionality matching requirements.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in FPGA and/or ASIC design and verification using VHDL, Verilog or System Verilog;
• Strong in Digital Electronics;
• Hardware debugging skills & experienced in operation with Signal Generator, Logic Analyzer, Digital Oscilloscope and Embedded FPGA Debugging tools;
• Analytical mindset;

Will be a plus:

• Programing microcontrollers using C/C++;
• Experience scripting skills for test/debug purposes (Python);
• Experience designing FPGAs with embedded microprocessors;
• Analog engineering fundamentals;
• Experience with common development tools (git, test frameworks, IDEs);
• Experience with Zynq Soc.
