Senior WordPress Developer

We are looking for a developer for long-term cooperation on our site.
Our site is a high-load site, translated to 21 languages (including Arabic and Chinese).
The candidate must be available everyday for a 15 min daily meeting video call (we will choose the most comfortable time for you).

Must have skills:

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Writing clean and re-usable code (respecting coding standards)
• Excellent WordPress knowledge
• Comfortable with UX principles & specifications, and working closely with designers / you think in mobile-first terms
• Solid experience with popular web servers configurations (Apache, Nginx)
• Good knowledge of Docker and Linux ecosystem
• Ability to find narrow places and fix them (profiling, increasing performance, analyzing)

You should be experienced with:

• PHP (OOP, SOLID, design patterns, Classes, PSRs, Xdebug)
• WordPress (creating plugins)
• WordPress for high-scale sites (caching, optimizing DB queries, high performance code)
• ACF Pro
• WPML
• Creating Gutenberg blocks
• JS (vanilla JS and jQuery)
• Security (writing secure code, protected from XSS, SQL injections, CSRF and similar vulnerabilities)
• SCSS
• Photoshop, Figma
• Git (GitHub, GitHub flow)
