Artist to create graphic images in After Effects / Figma / Photoshop
Job Description:
OSS is looking for artists to create graphic images in After Effects / Figma / Photoshop. The person in this role will incorporate a passion for educational training material with their technical and artistic abilities to create engaging and exciting media. The person in this role must master the different techniques to capture digital screenshots using several mobile devices (Samsung / iOS / Google Pixel), manage all screenshot requests, maintain the screenshot workflow, and successfully complete each request. This position will help support the company’s growing need to provide digital assets (images and video) for the client’s various educational web-based platforms.
The person in this role will be responsible for the following:
- Providing high-quality (pixel perfect) deliverables
- Capturing screens in several languages in addition to English including Japanese, Chinese, French, Spanish, Italian, and German
- Using Photoshop to edit screenshots (the same way in each language)
- Managing Adobe After Effect project files for all deliverable assets
- Desire to take real ownership of your role on each project and see to it that all details are thought-out.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with supervisors and other designers.
- Meticulous organization of assets and projects.
The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree, with a major in Design preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience working as a designer or web designer in a corporate / industry setting (either in-house or as a freelancer)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (notably After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to translate concepts into motion graphics.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Excellent attention to detail is a must
Contract Duration: 3+ Months with Possibility of Extension or Permanent
