Purchasing Officer

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) - Doctors Without Borders is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural disasters. We offer assistance to people based on need and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

MSF is looking for a Purchasing Officer to perform the following tasks:

• Performing on a day-to-day basis the purchasing activities of a supply office in order to ensure an ongoing supply of goods, following the procurement procedures:
• Constantly seeking products and suppliers that offer the best value for money and negotiating prices in order to guarantee the best quality and pricing
• Requesting invoices or receipts, without delay, for all purchases, checking they are correctly filled and translating information written in local language before approval
• Managing the administrative and accounting procedures related to purchases.

The position is based in Kyiv, Holosiivskyi District and the person is expected to start immediately. Intermediate English is a requirement for the position and the ideal candidate will have their own car that they can use for work.

Expected salary 22,000 UAH – 23,000 UAH per month plus allowances.
