Privacy Counsel

Wargaming is looking for a Privacy Counsel to join our Global Privacy Team. The Privacy Counsel will work on various privacy issues impacting our business around the world. This role will be based in Kyiv office. Remote work may also be considered.

What will you do?

• Support our global privacy compliance program and the continuing development of a privacy governance strategy, policies, and procedures
• Provide legal advice to all business units and products teams on data protection laws and regulations
• Ensure that privacy and data protection is embedded into our products and services
• Draft, review, and negotiate data protection and IT/Commercial-related agreements
• Work closely with the privacy champions
• Monitor and respond to new legal and regulatory developments; keep the stakeholders up to date on the latest technological and privacy developments

What are we looking for?

• Language skills: fluent in Russian and English (when applying, please, attach your CV in English as the interview will be conducted in English)
• Law degree required
• Minimum of two (2) years of data protection and privacy experience
• Experience in advising on GDPR requirements
• Ability to effectively manage a variety of projects
• Passionate about law, technology, and privacy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong drafting skills
• Strong attention to detail

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• In-house counsel experience in the fintech or gaming industry is an asset
• Experience with a privacy management tool is a plus
