Front-end Developer (React)

UKEESS Software House is looking for a Middle Front-end Developer (React). The position can be either onsite in Lviv or remotely.

You will become a part of an impressive team of developers, designers, and product managers who have built some of the world’s most compelling products, producing the worldwide leader in two categories: family history and consumer genetic testing.

About our project:

Our customer is the world’s largest DNA network from the USA which helps people discover their family stories and gain actionable insights about their health. With more than 27+ billion digitized global historical records, 100 million family trees, and 18+ million people in their growing database, using this resource and DNA analysis, you can determine your ethnicity, susceptibility to a variety of genetically transmitted diseases, find relatives all over the world, and more.

Along with a team of highly skilled professional engineers, your duties will be next:

• writing clean, well designed, testable, efficient code
• writing tests and maintaining high code test coverage
• working as a team player & communicating effectively
• working in an Agile team
• participation in team code review/discussions/modeling
• communication with the customer’s team

Requirements:

Our team is looking for a developer, who has:

• 2+ years of commercial experience using ReactJS+Redux (with Hooks)
• 2+ years of commercial experience with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
• understanding the SOLID principles of object-oriented programming
• experience with RESTful endpoints
• Upper-intermediate level of English at least (both speaking and writing)

It will be a big plus:

• some experience with node.js and building aggregation layers
• experience with Agile methodologies and software development life cycles
• experience in designing and implementing a large-scale web application

The common technology stack of the project: React (with Hooks)/Java8+/NodeJS/MySQL/AWS
