IT Applications Administrator

Jabil Uzhgorod is an electronics manufacturing services (EMS), located in Rozovka village in the vicinity of Uzhgorod city, are hiring an IT Applications Administrator to join our IT Department.

The role will require maintaining & supporting existing business system applications: bespoke and off the shelf. 

Knowledge Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Administration);
• At least 2 years of Applications Administration experience;
• Experience in Windows, Visual Studio, SQL Server, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), or SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), AWS and Azure cloud;
• Involvement with scripting languages such as PowerShell, batch scripting;
• Customer service skills as well as effective communication skills – both verbal and written;
• At least Intermediate level of English;
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Availability:

• Flexibility and availability to support critical applications 24/7.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure IT applications including scheduled jobs and interface connections;
• Database-related activities – DB deployment, maintenance, backup\restore, troubleshooting: SQL, SQL jobs, SSIS, SSRS;
• Collaborate with other teams (DBA, DEV, DevOps, BSA, network team) during troubleshooting, bug-fixing, deployment processes, new projects implementation;
• Maintain and develop documentation for responsible areas, application inventory;
• Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in the field”;
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
