The ICRC Delegation in Poltava seeks to fill the following position: 

Supply Chain Officer 1                                                                        

Based in Poltava

AIM OF THE POSITION 

Supply Chain Officer 1 carries out order fulfillment activities in accordance with service level agreements. S/he ensures that all customers' needs are understood, met, delivered and well communicated.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processes requisition orders according to the ICRC's logistics and financial procedures.
• Ensures that the priorities set by the Logistician are followed.
• Keeps those requesting services regularly informed about progress on their requests.
• Records and files documents pertaining to the ordering process; registers and transmits claims and remarks from those requesting services.
• Updates logistics dashboards and provides statistics.
• Contributes to supply-chain support for an assigned geographical area or specific group of products.
• May act as a Statistician. 

The tasks and responsibilities defined above are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on organizational needs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

Education and professional qualifications 

• Technical Degree in Logistics, Administration or equivalent; 
• 3 years' work experience in a similar field of activity;
• Certifications in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management or similar;
• Good command (spoken and written) of English.
• Confirmed skills in procurement; 
• Rigor, method and analytical skills;
• Excellent computer proficiency.
