The ICRC Delegation in Odessa seeks to fill the following position: 

Storekeeper  

Based in ODESSA 

AIM OF THE POSITION 

The storekeeper will supervise the warehouse staff and daily workers while ensuring that all stocks are in order. He/she will organise and control movement of goods In & Out and give accurate record of monthly and periodic inventories. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Receives and checks incoming goods against the delivery note and reports any issues.
• Ensures that goods are properly stored, picked, packed and loaded and reports any issues.
• Ensures that all the stored goods are properly labelled (expiry dates, batch numbers, manufacturer, etc.) and recorded.
• Weighs and tallies goods during loading and unloading. 
• Updates bin cards and stock cards when supervising an inventory transaction.
• Participates in inventory counts.
• Keeps the facility's equipment and materials neat, clean and orderly and reports any issues.
• Ensures that temperatures are properly recorded. 
• Replaces the Storekeeper 2 or Warehouse Supervisor during his absence. 

The tasks and responsibilities defined above are not exhaustive and can evolve depending on organizational needs such as duties related to security, warehouse facilities, storage of goods and warehouse activities, reception and inspection of incoming goods, quality control, distribution and packing, inventory, etc.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS  

Education and professional qualifications 

• Secondary school diploma
• Vocational training in administration or logistics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years' experience in Storekeeping, Warehousing, Transport or Logistics.
• Team-management experience is an asset.
• Holding driver license – category B, other categories is an asset
• Holding forklift driver license is an asset
• Excellent command (spoken and written) Russian and English languages. 
• Good computer literacy (Excel/ Word),
