The ICRC Delegation in Odessa seeks to fill the following position: 

Logistics Assistant 

Based in Odessa 

AIM OF THE POSITION  

The Logistics Assistant supports the delegation’s logistics team by following up on handling requests. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Provides support in accordance with logistics standards, ICRC rules, financial procedures and regulations.  

This may include some or all of the following activities:

• meetings with internal customers for collaborative demand planning (CDP)
• order management
• maintenance, follow-up and statistical reporting using the requested application
• follow-up on inventory levels
• warehousing
• transport of goods and coordinating trips into the field
• import-export formalities
• filing and archiving of documents.

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

 Minimum required knowledge & experience: 

• Secondary school level or a technical school
• Minimum two years' work experience, preferably in commercial, military or humanitarian logistics, including management experience.
• Good knowledge of spoken English and basic knowledge of written English
• Basic computer knowledge
• Driving Licence.
• Detailed Knowledge of the local area.
