DevOps Engineer
We are looking for an experienced DevOps who will join the current team.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of proven experience as a DevOps/System Administrator;
- English level — Intermediate or higher;
- Extensive experience with AWS (AWS Lambda, IoT, IAM, Cognito, etc);
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management;
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems;
- Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline educational degree;
- Professional certification (e.g., AWS certification) will be a plus;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude;
- MacOS, Windows, iOS, Android will be a big plus;
- Experience with GitLab CI;
- Experience with Docker;
- Experience with build and distribution process for mobile applications (Firebase, Play Market, App Store);
- Knowledge of scripts languages (bash, python)
Responsibilities:
- Support existing cloud services and architecture;
- Support and update existing CI/CD;
- Manage network servers and technology tools;
- Perform physical installation and basic maintenance of network devices;
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements;
- Troubleshoot issues and outages;
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls;
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models;
- Build specifications and with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
Project:
Project is an app for Smart Home. Modern buildings are far more than just stone constructions. A home automation system will monitor and/or control home attributes such as lighting, climate and also home security such as access control and alarm systems.
Devices and sensors will communicate and interpret data about the real-time status, performance and behavior of the object itself.
And smart home hubs will not only control lights and appliances but predict when maintenance is needed and send information to special emergency services 24/7.
The goal of building automation is to optimize the user experience, increase productivity, reduce costs and minimize health and safety risks.
