Middle Java Developer, Communications Solutions

The client is an American company that's working in the communications solutions industry focused on large companies and corporations. They specialize in services for sending voice and text messages, notifications, organizing online conferences, alerts about natural disasters, creating interactive voice menus and newsletters, sending messages on a schedule, etc.

Development is conducted using a comprehensive stack of technologies: .NET Core, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Python, React.js, Kubernetes, AWS.

The system's features are continuously expanding and getting supplemented with new opportunities as per requests of the company's customers.

Responsibilities

• Coding, unit testing, building new services
• Moving existing code to microservice architecture
• Solving not trivial tasks, testing code (Google-style)

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in programming with Java
• Commercial development experience
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases and MongoDB
• Solid knowledge SQL
• Good knowledge of Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
• Experience writing unit tests
• Good spoken English

Additional Competences

• Knowledge of RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of Cassandra
