Middle Java Engineer, Banking App

DataArt is currently engaged in a banking business transformation project. All card systems and services are being updated within the framework of the project. Development is based on Scrum (2-week sprints).

The product team consists of a Scrum Master, UX Designer, and the development team which independently implements the required functionality.

We hire people not for a project but for the company. If the project (or your work on it) is over you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Must have

• 3+ years of experience developing web applications
• Excellent knowledge of Java 8+
• Experience working with Spring Boot (starters, Kafka consumers and producers, understanding how concurency works in listeners, authorization, Spring Boot app testing, transactions, REST controllers)
• Understanding of microservices architectural principles
• Experience working with PostgreSQL performing query optimization for high volume systems
• in-depth understanding of scaling in Apache Kafka
• Experienced team worker in SCRUM team

Would be a plus

• Experience developing using Java 11+
• Understanding of CI/CD
• Building applications using the Camunda framework
• Experience with Redis
• Ability to develop a UI with the use of JavaScript
• Spoken English
