Angular Developer, Global Retail Services

DataArt’s specialists are currently working on an innovative product in the e-commerce field. Its focus is the wholesale and retail trade of goods for hotels, restaurants, and cafes. The service is an electronic marketplace for European countries that works similar to Amazon.

The product’s first public beta release took place in September 2019. It is written on a new code base using modern technologies and processes.

The work is organized according to the Spotify Agile Framework, i.e. all developers work in small (5-7 people) autonomous and self-sufficient teams. Each team is led by a committee of three specialists: Product Manager, Technical Lead, and UX/UI Designer. The development uses Scrum or Kanban depending on the needs of the team.

The project has built a full-fledged Continuous Deployment process with regular updating of all environments (at least once a day), code review and pull request practices, unit tests, manual and automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, microservice architecture, and modern cloud infrastructure.

The main tools are:
- Angular (10-12).
- GoogleCloud Platform.
- GitLab.
- Docker, Kubernetes.
- ESLint, Prettier, SonarQube.
- Confluence.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience with web technologies
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Good experience in Angular v2+ or React
• Readiness to work with Angular v2+ framework
• Experience with CI/CD
• Good knowledge regarding ECMAScript standards
• Experience in working with cloud-based infrastructure e.g. GCP/AWS
• Thorough knowledge of related technologies: HTML, HTML5, CSS
• Experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) in JavaScript
• Experience writing unit tests
• Understanding of the architecture of large web applications
• Excellent understanding of SDLC and modern Agile development methodologies
• Good Spoken English
