Senior/Lead QA Engineer, Financial System

DataArt’s client is an international investment company. Our team is currently developing a large financial system. We are developing an integrated, modular, turn-key, all-in-one, front-to-back investment management platform. It supports a broader range of asset classes than any other portfolio management system on the market, is the only system of its kind to support crypto assets in production and is steeped in years of real-world usage at some of the world’s largest and most complex financial institutions.

We are looking for a skilled and passionate QA Engineer to join our team and being responsible for quality assurance done for the project. As well as for collaboration with project stakeholders and other team members within the organization.

Development team consists of 14 Developers, 5 QAs, 2 DevOps, 1 Release Engineer.

Tech Stack of the project: .NET Framework 4.6, Azure DevOps, C#, MSSQL 2014, React.js, REST services, RxJs, SSRS/Microsoft Reporting Services, VSTO, WCF, Windows Azure, WPF.T

Responsibilities

• Functional, Smoke, Sanity, Acceptance, Regression testing
• Follow and enhance test strategy on the project
• Coordinate team of several people (automation and manual QAs), planning and estimation of testing activities
• Test documentation creation, validation and maintenance
• Communication with the customer daily
• Communication with business representatives to elicit business needs, clarify requirements

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer
• 1+ year of leadership experience managing 3-5 QAs
• Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and processes
• Experienced in desktop, web and mobile applications testing
• Proven work experience in agile software development, including using systems such as Jira for issue tracking
• Experience in writing test documentation
• Experience with different types of testing
• Flexibility, excellent collaboration skills, ability to plan the workload
• Experience working with Agile teams
• Good spoken and written English
• Good communication and presentation skills, strong “customer-focus” vision
