Senior .NET Engineer, Environmental Consulting

Our client is an environmental consulting business headquartered in the US. They specialize in sustainability and offer solutions to protect the environment.

We are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join our team. DataArt's specialists are helping the client develop applications based on the .NET platform.

We're aiming to build a cloud-native platform with a microservices architecture that is built on top of the most recent technologies:
•.NET 5;
• Entity Framework Core;
• Azure Database for PostgreSQL;
• Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service;
• gRPC; • Azure Service Bus / RabbitMQ;
• Redis;
• TeamCity;
• Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana.
 

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the development of commercial applications using the .NET platform (including .NET Core, .NET Web API and ASP.NET Core)
• Strong skills in software design, object-oriented programming (OOP), and design patterns
• Frontend development knowledge (React is preferred)
• Experience with Docker
• Practical microservice architecture knowledge
• Experienced team worker
• Spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with MS SQL
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ
• Experience working with Queues (e.g. RabbitMQ)
• Experience working with K8S
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of the Agile development methodology and experience in teamwork using Scrum
