Senior Node.js/React Lead

Our client has years of experience in entertainment industry with manual processing of advance requests against royalties. Based on it they provide a simple way for artists to receive advances for their projected royalty revenues in the automatic and semi-automatic way.

Building the platform which collects all the data for artists needed from different earning sources in one place. The platform will provide an ability to view the earning history, forecasting, and team management tool making accounting easier for artists.

The project team consists of 14 people (Node.js, React.js, DevOps, BA, QA, AQA, PM, Designer).

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our team.

TECHNOLOGY STACK: JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, AWS, GraphQL.

Responsibilities

• Understand, communicate, and enforce the software architecture strategy
• Guide the software development process through high-level decision making
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Implementation of the back-end of the solution
• Technical assessment of new features and their incorporation into the solution
• Integration of data storage solutions
• Participate in knowledge sharing and offer recommendations for improving the solution
• Code review

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications
• Experience leading software development teams
• Hands-on experience working with Node.js and JavaScript
• Experience working with AWS products
• Solid knowledge and practical experience with React.js framework
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Knowledge of OOP, OOD, and design patterns
• Practical experience working with databases (SQL and No-SQL)
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Big-picture problem-solving skills
• Spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience working with GraphQL
• Experience in building serverless infrastructure
• Practical experience working with PostgreSQL
