Key Experience, qualifications, and skills:

• Master’s degree in Law in one of the best classical universities of Ukraine, LL.M. in one of the foreign universities is a competitive advantage
• General legal practice experience — 10+ years
• 5+ years of work experience in an international or top-tier law firm, Big 4 or in-house in IT company
• Experience in data protection and privacy (GDPR, CCPA)
• Experience in working on M&A transactions is a competitive advantage
• Experience in structuring businesses at an international level
• Experience in working with legal systems of the EU and USA
• Solid legal drafting and research skills
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Project management skills and ability to lead the team
• Ability to accomplish complex tasks “turnkey”
• English – full working proficiency, both verbal and written

Responsibilities:

• General legal support of company business activity, consulting company top-management
• Strategic and practical advice to the business on regulatory, commercial / IP, corporate, data protection, and privacy matters
• Handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with careful legal analysis and attention to detail
• Drafting and reviewing international legal documents (agreements, resolutions, etc.) relating to the company’s primary business activity
• Participation as an expert in negotiations with the company’s clients
• Draft and implement policies, practices, and procedures to drive the improvement of the legal function with the assistance of the Head of Legal
• Analysis and development of corporate policies, procedures, and solutions
• Communicating with business partners, law firms, and service providers from various jurisdictions
