Bookkeeper

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable Manager in order to conduct financial and accounting functions for our team. As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will need to be proactive in resolving issues and take initiative to ensure processes are efficient. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work with and manage the operational and financial aspects.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE required:

• 5+ years of experience in accounts payables
• experience with accounting software - QuickBooks
• strong analytical skills
• English – B2+

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• manages and supervises the accounts payable department and staff in the organization
• oversee all payment transactions such as ACH, wires, paper checks, and so on
• will be in charge of data entry, validation, and processing of various types of invoices like general overhead, subcontractor, and employee travel reimbursements
• keep track of the status of all transactions taking place within the company and external vendors and contractors
• standardize procedures to generate efficiency in-house and create internal templates to be used by the company

Would be a plus:

• a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field
