Accountant assistant

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural disasters. We offer assistance to people based on need and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. MSF Ukraine is looking for:

ACCOUNTANT ASSISTANT (Lviv)

Main duties:

• Verifying supporting documentation, and maintaining records according to MSF standards and local finance policies.
• Controlling and monitoring payment, coding and recording transactions in the accounting system.
• Carrying out transfer requests.
• Checking the validity of invoices, approval signatories, and correctness of account codes.
• Assisting with the preparation of salary as required.

Requirements:

Education:

• Qualifications or professional diploma in administration / accounting.

Experience:

• Experience in accounting (minimum 1 year).

Languages:

• Fluent English, Russian and Ukrainian

Location: Lviv.

Type of agreement: Temporary civil law agreement — open for extension.

Desired starting date of work: as soon as possible.
