Lead AWS Developer (SK-923)

We're looking for a Lead AWS Developer who is passionate about using bleeding-edge technologies to help make the hiring process better and more equitable for millions of people. You'll be working on a small team at a rocketship-growth tech company that's focused on building out the conversational AI product. Your work will streamline the hiring process for millions of job seekers, reduce bias in hiring, and help companies solve some of the most ambitious challenges in the world.  

YOUR MISSION

• Scale our platform to handle millions of users 
• Optimize our applications 
• Performance and load testing
• Continuing to develop our microservices architecture

YOUR PROFILE

• 6+ years of software experience with Java
• Experience with microservices architecture 
• Knowledge of Spring or Spring Boot is a plus 
• Solid knowledge of SQL  
• Firm experience with AWS  

Nice to have:

• Experience working with graph databases 
• Background with Docker and Kubernetes 
• Familiarity with Terraform 
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA or equivalent 
• Knowledge of ReactJS, Typescript (if you are someone who has both frontend and backend experience, there is work to be done on the frontend, too!) 
• Experience scaling applications in a high-growth environment
