Chief Accountant (remotely)

Home Alliance, one of USA's most unique home service companies, is growing and has an immediate need for a Chief Accountant to join our team. We are highly rated on Glassdoor, Yelp, and Google Maps and are unique in that we not only sell the service, but we have also created the full business ecosystem.

As a Chief Accountant you will:

• Oversee all areas of accounting, both technical and operational including US GAAP accounting requirements

• Manage overall cash flow and ensure optimal working capital

• Ensure accounting documents are accurate and processed in a timely manner

• Maintain bookkeeping records

• Implement fast close

• Create and submit reports to appropriate entities

• Maintain highly organized and updated files ensuring necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled

• Prepare registrations and regulatory tax filings

• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations and address any potential issues proactively

• Develop, implement, and track internal controls

• Coordinate with auditors on all tax and audit matters

• Lead reporting, timelines, deliverables, and KPIs for the accounting team

What we look for:

• 7+ years experience in accounting/finance

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA a plus!)

• Able to thrive in a deadline driven environment

• Expertise working with QuickBooks and financial statements

• Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details

• Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers

• Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

• Able to motivate the team and lead by example

• Knowledge of G-Suite, QuickBooks, MS Excel (or willingness to learn quickly)

• English — Intermediate +, Russian language knowledge is a plus
