Senior DevOps System Administrator

Materialise is looking for a talented Senior DevOps System Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Being SPOC for units, including quality aspects;
• Assist development teams and DevOps engineers through configuring, troubleshooting user issues and advising on CI/CD capabilities;
• Keeping applications up-to-date with latest releases, organize and document updates and configuration of the platforms;
• Develop documentation, define training program, and convey knowledge about the product;
• Identify dependencies/impacts with other application and on the supporting infrastructure to reduce risks of service disruptions;
• Evaluate, provide recommendations, and enhance the existing DevOps architecture, configuration, procedures, and processes to provide a more robust, dependable, efficient and flexible system;
• Implement automated processes to support streamlining of engineering/administrative duties using PowerShell;
• Collaborate with service desk, development teams, and vendors to improve service level;
• Ownership of infrastructure - сollect needs, translate to specs, and initiate request for new servers;
• Provide budget input related to the product;
• Define access management approach and manage accesses in collaboration with Service Desk;
• Ensure tools/environments are leveraging security configuration correctly. Proactively govern security and enforce policies;
• Management of licensing of Microsoft Visual Studio.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of application development configuration management processes (repos/build/release);
• 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps;
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps , TFS/VSTS;
• Intermediate PowerShell scripting capabilities and working knowledge of the .Net framework;
• Good analytical skills; the ability to prioritize projects; good oral and written communication skills;
• Good interpersonal and collaborative teamwork skills;
• English: Upper – Intermediate.

Will be a plus

• Knowledge of container technologies: Docker and Kubernetes; 
• Knowledge of cloud architecture;
• Intermediate understanding of Network administration, Load Balancing, Firewall rules, and other technologies associated with managing production systems;
• Knowledge of the Linux OS.
