Compliance and ESG Analyst

We are looking for an ambitious professional to join our Team as a Compliance and ESG Analyst!

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Compliance and ESG (Environmental & Social) functions with addressing routine and technical tasks

2. Compliance policies and related documentation:

• Draft analysis and propose updates to the existing compliance policies and related documentation
• Propose communication of compliance policies and guidelines to designated departments and employees
• Assist in training to employees on compliance requirements
• Support in maintenance and further development of compliance recordkeeping system

3. Requests for information, research, and reports

• Support in addressing Compliance- and ESG-related requests for information and managing required information/workflows
• Support in collection, analysis and summarizing information for preparation of compliance screening/KYC reports
• Conduct preliminary research in open sources in relation to prospective or existing clients, partners, and counterparties
• Prepare preliminary analysis and summaries of findings to prepare compliance screening/KYC reports based on research in open sources and existing corporate information systems and tools

4. Support in preparation of other compliance- and ESG-related reports

5. Support in maintenance of existing information systems and tools 

• Update and add new sanctions and restrictions lists
• Enter data on counterparties for and maintain monitoring
• Suggest any further improvements, lists and tools required

6. Fulfill other tasks as required

Qualifications / Skills:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
2. Strong research and analytical abilities, ability to identify and highlight important information and form conclusions
3. Eye for details and with a good sense of critical reasoning
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Responsible, result-oriented and able to work with minimum supervision
6. Able to work with tight deadlines
7. Languages: Ukrainian, Russian – native; English – fluent (ability to read and write, communicate)
8. Excellent computer/technical skills:

• MS Office applications
• Email and Web browsers
• Experience with any other tools and systems is a plus

9. Any compliance-related internships or work experience is a plus
