Middle Embedded/Firmware Developer (FreeRTOS, SysBIOS, Networking) (IRC137632)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Middle Embedded/Firmware Developer to join its Kyiv office.

Support product for Tier 1 supplier for the automotive industry.

Requirements:

• Must have expertise in:

  • Good programming skills in C
  • Good understanding of basic programming primitives, data structures, multi-threading, memory management techniques
  • Experience developing device drivers, kernel-level software, or embedded firmware for networking (ethernet, wifi, AVB – preferable)
  • Detailed knowledge of operating system internals such memory/resource/bus management, peripherals such as USB, GPIO, SPI, UART etc
  • Network processing, Audio processing (preferable)
  • Intermediate English level

• Nice to have expertise in:

  • Experience in SysBIOS, FreeRTOS, other RTOS
  • Developing high-performance scalable and low latency software
  • Expertise in NXP controllers, RENESAS, Texas Instruments
  • Performance analysis end-to-end with the use of tracing and profiling tools at the user and kernel levels.

Responsibilities:

Working as a software engineer on firmware of microcontrollers to implement network AVB stack

Implementing new features and settings to identify and monitor network and audio traffic

Develop unit and system-level regression testing for new features

Specify software requirements and influence the hardware design of current/future SOC

Identify and address system-level performance and stability issues end-to-end
