Middle С++ Engineer – Android (IRC134091)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Middle С++ Engineer – Android to join its Kyiv office.

Our customer is international car manufacture with a headquarter in Vietnam. The Company is working on high-quality, cutting-edge, and comprehensive integrated cockpit and automotive computing platforms.

Requirements:

• Must-Have

  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Good knowledge of C/C++
  • Good knowledge in audio-related tasks development is a must
  • Good knowledge and experience in multithreading
  • Good knowledge of Linux, including experience in the development of Linux
  • Experience in GIT
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, profiling, and system performance optimization.
  • Experience in working with and create the software development documentation
  • Intermediate+ spoken and writing English

• Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in C++ development on Android OS (middleware) will be a major plus
  • BA, MS degree in software engineering, computer science, or another related field
  • Experience Linux kernel development – optional
  • Experience with Yocto Linux
  • Understanding of hypervisor concepts

Preferences:

Linux Kernel, Android NDK

Responsibilities:

• Implementing new functionality for the virtualized automotive platform
• Taking part in architecture design and implementation for new features
• Contribute to the development and bug-fixing of the Android and Linux-specific features on the OS level.
• Contribute to the performance analysis and optimization of the existing system.
• Porting customer-specific features to the newest Android/Linux versions
• Take part in the system requirements and customer requests analysis
• Cooperate with other teams worldwide to follow up product development and integration with other solutions.
