Junior Java Automation QE (IRC138341)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Junior Java Automation QE to join its Kyiv office.

We are helping our customer, one of the top European banks, with digital transformation. In collaboration with our customer, we are working on assessing applications that are currently hosted on-premise, planning and executing all steps required to move them to public clouds. Depending on the decision made for a particular application, the transformation scope may vary from re-hosting to full redesign and rewrite. That includes modernization and uplifting to modern solutions.
Our customer operates in many European countries and uses a broad spectrum of technologies and applications

Requirements:

• Essential duties and responsibilities – other duties may be assigned 

  • Design, create and maintain automated test frameworks for front and back end systems/applications.
  • Perform UI functional, API, regression, and end to end testing within an agile delivery model. 
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the Continuous Integration process.
  • Develop/document test plans, automated framework, tests for SAAS applications

• Essential education, skills and knowledge requirements:  

  • Good programming/scripting experience and a passion for Developing test code
  • 1+ years exp in Test Automation including planning, assessments, script development and maintenance
  • Experience  Java
  • Knowledge testing SAAS applications running in Cloud (AWS, Azure)
  • Good communication skills in a stakeholder-facing environment
  • Good experience working within an agile and DevOps delivery team

Responsibilities:

• As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you are responsible for the design, creation, and maintenance of automated test frameworks. A candidate should possess the ability to perform API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, exploratory and end to end testing within an agile delivery model
