DevOps Engineer (DanAds/AdTech)

We have a great opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer who is ready to show a high level of engagement in making technical decisions.

Customer:

Our customer DanAds is a leading provider of customized self-serve advertising platforms for publishers, which come with the best features of ad forecasting, one-to-one direct deals, proposals sending, various targeting options, and ad-tools.

Project

The platform is an Ad-desk that is integrated with the publishers’ own ad servers (e.g. Google Double Click – DFP), CRM, and payment systems (Adyen). The main customers/users of the system are Publishers as well as small and medium advertisers who want to market their business among web, mobile, and print units.

The system itself was developed by Sigma Software from scratch, and we are relying on modern frameworks and tools for its development.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in environment/architecture planning
• Automate CI/CD and other processes on a project
• Optimize existing environments/structure
• Design operational playbooks and policies supporting organizational security posture
• Support our development team
• Troubleshoot the production system and network issues related to performance and functionality

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in AWS based infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Bash/Python/Groovy)
• Experience in Linux
• Understanding of CI/CD and the ability to architect the workflow
• Proven experience with Jenkins
• Good knowledge and understanding in the area of the web- and app- technology/servers
• Hands-on experience with PHP/JS/Java application deployment procedures
• Deep understanding of Docker concepts and Docker/docker-compose usage
• Experience in configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet, Kubernetes)
• Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) advanced user
• At least Intermediate level of English both written and spoken
