Our client develops various products for real-time betting and has a trusted brand with global recognition in the sports betting and gaming market. The company works in a highly loaded environment, so the team consists of highly qualified specialists in this area, making reliable and scalable cloud-based applications.

Project

A project you are about to join is a totally new environment with no legacy code around. We are building a new software and infrastructure that combines marketplaces and provides a highly scalable solution. It is expected to handle tens of thousands of requests per minute and to have an integration with various services and payment systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Write both unit and integration tests
• Craft clear user stories
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Continuously deliver product value and enhance the process and the product

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 4+ years of experience with Python 
• Experience with frameworks Django and Flask
• Vast experience with AWS (Lambda - desirable, IAM, SQS)
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL (Redis) databases
• Experience with Serverless Architecture
• Experience in applying OOP principles and design patterns
• Practical experience with Event-Driven Development
• High proficiency in RESTful APIs and Code Review
• Expert knowledge of Git
• Experience with developing unit tests
• Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English
