Junior Node. Js Developer (Gaming Project)

We invite a motivated Junior Node.js Developer who isn’t afraid of challenges and really wants to grow on his/her expertise with us.

As a Software Engineer, you will closely work with a team on developing a huge game platform.

CUSTOMER

Our client is a provider in the gambling industry on the European market.

PROJECT

We improve platform for online games by developing new features and also supporting existing code.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, or at least 1 year of experience in a similar stack
• Knowledge of Express and WebSockets
• Basic Docker knowledge, AWS infrastructure is desirable
• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
• Write high-quality code that is modular, functional, and testable
• Establish the best coding practices
• Have experience with Postgres and Redis databases
• Knowledge of building continuous integration pipelines, using CI/CD systems and automated testing
• At least Intermediate level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, debug portions of software under supervision of Senior personnel
• Design and develop unit, integration, or automated end-to-end tests
• Dev-test own code, check key scenarios, corner and edge case
• Participate in requirements clarification sessions
• Peer-review design and code with Middle and Senior level specialists
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Report status and progress according to the project and company demands
