The client's dynamic POS Platform team is rapidly growing as they optimize their digital ordering channels and technology innovations to create competitive advantages for our restaurants around the globe. We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test POS Intern who will be learning and helping for creating, implementing, and maintaining an automated test framework for our POS/KDS products and integrating with our eCommerce platform.
In this role, you will work as part of a Scrum delivery team to ensure that automated tests are in place that assures functionality works as expected from the moment it is released.
YOU ARE
Demonstrating the following experience
- Strong knowledge in CS fundamentals and coding, familiar with general data structure, algorithm, and pattern designs
- Android development and/or Android QA automation is a must
- Developing/testing Restful APIs is preferred
- Testing mobile applications, preferably POS/KDS systems would be a plus point
- Kotlin or Java for Android development
- Comfort with Agile development process
- A Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, Engineering, or equivalent experience or you are working toward one of those degrees as a college student
- Requirements analysis skills and experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to be clear about what you are doing, what you know, and what you don’t
- Confident English level to communicate and collaborate with the client’s team on a daily basis (Intermediate+ English level)
YOU WANT TO WORK WITH
- Manually testing feature tickets for POS/KDS applications
- Developing automated regression tests for new & existing functionality
- Reporting to a QA Manager but work day-to-day embedded in a Scrum team
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating test activities for your Scrum team
