IT systems/support administrator
Responsibilities:
- - Install network and computer system
- - Maintain, repair and upgrade the operating system including hardware and software
- - Set up accounts and workstations
- - Troubleshoot issues and outages
- - Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- - Responding to queries via chat, email, or phone
- - Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
- - Monitor the performance of existing computer systems and IT infrastructures
Duties:
- Assisting in the manuals creation and implementation of various systems to include desktop PC’s, servers, network equipment, and software applications
- Maintains and monitors all servers’ backups
- Monitors the distribution of client/server software and service packs
- Performs on-site and remote technical support for end users
- Performs basic tasks on VMware vSphere
- Performs basic hardware troubleshooting and replacement on the server system.
- Performs anti-virus and anti-spam management
- Supports applications including MS Exchange, the public Internet and internal Intranet Web services, and network management platforms on enterprise-wide system
- Maintains user accounts, mailing lists
- Maintains and supports network firewalls, audit log servers, and security systems.
Qualifications/experience:
- Must be proficient in the following areas:
- Good English written and verbal skills, at least upper intermediate level
- 2+ years experience as a hands-on network/systems administrator
- 2+ years experience with key Microsoft Enterprise technologies, including Windows System Administration, Active Directory (including Group policies), MS DPM, Exchange Server, and IIS
- 2+ years of IP networking experience including technical knowledge of subjects such as DNS, LDAP, DHCP, routing, switching, remote access technologies, and firewall configuration
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Microsoft and Linux administration background.
- 2+ years of hands-on administration with Microsoft Exchange implementations and management, experience with e-mail processing and filtering (anti-virus/anti-spam)
- Understanding of NAS, iSCSI
Working shift:
- From 13:00 till 22:00, Monday - Friday
