The TDC course is a competency-based program that aims to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes expected of a professional trainer.  It was developed in 2016 and 2017 through the amalgamation of a number of Training of Trainer courses that had progressively been created over a number of years to fill different gaps.  As a result, the TDC course incorporates the materials from a number of these courses which familiarises participants with the materials and prepares participants to plan, deliver and review training in these courses.  The course materials that are covered include Field Security Associate (FSA), Security Certification Programme (SCP) and Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) as well as some UNSMS gender materials, developed in 2016.
